FAQs About Apprenticeship

How much money do I need to bring for in-between groups?

InIquitos, a single room in La Casona is about $15/night, food running about $10/day maximum. That's $135 each in-between. If you are staying for three months, you and some other apprentices may want to consider looking for an apartment (which can be a couple of bedrooms for about $100-$150/month, with a kitchen will save you money).

Can I stay on Infinite Light property in between groups?

The shaman has found that it is in the best interest of everyone to return to Iquitos in between groups, not only to take a real break, but to allow the purges to process while in the city.

Is Apprenticeship hard?

Depends. Everyone reacts differently to different situations. Often the harder part is recognizing the physical lessons that come outside of ceremony, through interaction with your environment or other people. Things are 'brought up' outside of ceremony to purge and train on your management skills, and often because things occur during the day, it's easy to finger point at your annoyance. Seeing these things as lessons for you, and deflating the ego enough to allow the healing, these are often the most difficult parts for long term apprentices. Staying in gratitude and appreciation generally makes the whole experience (for life in general too!) a lot easier.
