Ayahuasca Plant Medicine

Ayahuasca (along with the 10-15 supporter medicinal plants in the brew) is a doorway; a way to connect with healing energies in order to purge lower frequencies, raise a person's

vibration and tap into

Divine wisdom.

Dense energies such as fear, doubt, control, etc, may be purged to open the person up to receiving. Everyone moves at their own pace; we cannot guarantee timelines as to how long it may take a given person to do what they are aiming to do. We are holding the space and assisting, but the work is self-paced, and patience may be needed along the way.

During the purging process, the physical body may have various reactions to the dark energy leaving the body. This can include vomiting, bowl movements, hot or cold purges, sweating, yawning, gas, crying or extreme emotions, shaking or vibrating, or extreme energy surges (we have people there to assist you to the bathroom if necessary). During the process, often the person experiences the energy as it is on its way out (for example, while purging fear, a person may experience being extremely scared).

This is not always the case...the Medicine works with the person's Higher Self and God/Universe to allow you to prioritize purging the most debilitating thing that they can handle purging at the time. This is not a "shortcut", or necessarily easy process. This is for serious spiritual workers/seekers who are ready to look hard and deep, and face the darkness that may still reside within the body and mind. As challenging as the purging process can be, the Light levels, Divine bliss and life-changing wisdom people can receive is well worth the work!

Because each person is the one living in their own body, the individual will have the ability to choose how much Medicine to drink (with the exception of the occassional guidance of the shaman.  Part of the training is to get to know your instincts and hits from within the physical body, but when it is really important, the shaman will let you know his feeling.

During ceremony, there are periods of silence or "a break" (vocal check-ins) in between Icaros (sacred communication sung in order to call in the Medicine spirits.) Each person will be purging how they need to, so sometimes people will need to laugh, cry, etc. The groups are Divinely orchestrated to maximize the experience for everyone, so if someone else's experience irritates another during ceremony, this is a training or provocation tool to used to trigger out energies to be purged.

Tobacco is an intregal part of the ceremony, as this medicinal plant helps to purify energy, assist in purging, or intensify vision. It is also considered an offering to the Ayahuasca. Sometimes pure tobacco is used (mapachos) and other times traditional cigarettes. We have created an open, airy ceremony house to keep the air clean, but the person needs to be prepared for this if they

have a major aversion to smoke in general.

The Approach

The shaman´s approach at Infinite Light allows each person to learn from the Medicine directly. It is by no means a  ¨magic pill¨,  it requires desire and willingess to look at the issues and walk through one´s own fears, and readiness to do so. It is a co-creative process, so the more a person puts into the work, the more they will get out of it.

In otherwords, the shaman is not going to do your homework for you. He, the human, is not going to ¨heal¨you. He has created a space that with the support, you will heal yourself, strengthening your spirit as you do so, so you are not dependent on him or the Medicine to navigate life. This approach is not for everyone, and is not for the weak of heart. This is for people who desire, and are ready and willing to do what it takes to become their true selves, and investigate the blocks in the way through working with the Plant Spirits directly.

At Infinite Light, we also believe in having fun. This is extremely high-level, challenging work, and purging the darkness must be balanced by enjoying the Light. We love to laugh, play, and just be ourselves. There is no ¨spiritual ideal¨here (or anywhere in reality)...we believe that spiritual work is meant to allow one´s true self to come through, whether that means a chicken-eating Yogi or a tattooed cursing sailor. Bring out who you are, not what anyone says you should be. And enjoy the process, because there are infinite levels, so you might as well get used to that now, and improve your quality of life. Let go into the flow,

and enjoy the human form.

Ayahuasca is in a class of it's own. Until a person has actually experienced it, they have only skimmed the surface as to what it is really all about. We do our best to

explain and do it justice with spoken language, but those who have experience with it will tell you (in not so many words)...
